Why Engineering? I am passionate about languages and language structure (syntax, semantics, and pragmatics mainly) and I found in NLP (Natural Language Processing, a specific area of Artificial Intelligence) the perfect spot where to have my passion meet a fulfilling career.
School Days I started from having a background in Humanities (not everyone necessarily went through a linear process, which not only is ok, but also contributes to bringing diversity and different perspectives into the workplace) and then I pursued a Master's degree in NLP.
