EngineerGirl website provides access to role models, examples of engineering achievements and possibilities, along with advice on preparing for engineering careers. But more than that, we share stories about how engineering is essential to our lives and how an engineering career provides a unique opportunity to make a difference.
The EngineerGirl Writing Contest encourages girls and boys to see how engineering impacts their own lives, asking them to write about engineering in relation to food products, energy, disaster relief, health and medicine, and more.
The EngineerGirl Ambassador program supports high school girls who design, develop, and implement a project in her local community that will encourage younger girls - particularly those with little access to engineering role models - to think about engineering and engineering careers and give them practical experience in engineering design. Ambassadors are selected through a competitive process and receive training and year-long support from EngineerGirl staff.
Our growing community of students, engineers, parents, educators, and professionals is only possible through the generous support of our individual donors and major sponsors. Thank you!!
