Erin Brooks is a Strategic Sourcing Manager of Core Technologies at Tesla Motors (NASDAQ TSLA). At Tesla, Ms. Brooks is responsible for developing a long term, scalable supply base strategy to enable Tesla’s goal of accelerating the world’s adoption of increasingly affordable electric cars. Ms. Brooks joined Tesla from global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, where she led projects in strategic sourcing, process improvement, and organizational transformation. Prior to consulting, Ms. Brooks worked in various engineering and management roles in the automotive industry, including Honeywell, Cummins Inc., and Ford Motor Company. Ms. Brooks received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Ms. Brooks is also an elected officer and active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and an accomplished leader in non-profit organizations whose mission is aligned with encouraging young women to enter careers in STEM, and promoting the full potential of professional women in careers as engineers and leaders.
