Close Up
  • Why Engineering?

I decided to study chemical engineering. The advantage of chemical engineering is that it offers a wide understanding of chemical and physical processes used in various industries worldwide. It can be applied to numerous fields and has a practical connection to production.

  • My Family

I am divorced and have a lovely daughter of 9. My parents live 1 hour away from me, my mom is US-born and my dad is Italian.

  • Dreams and Goals

I would like to make a difference with respect to Environmental Sustainability and energy-related products.

In the long term I am considering the option of teaching or consulting, because I think I can be a good life coach and I enjoy helping others become better people!

  • Inspiration

Certainly nature, and my values, the fact that I wish the world were less greedy and less material. My boyfriend is also a great source of inspiration. He is older than me, and I trust his views and advice a lot.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

Working as an engineer commands respect, particularly because engineering is perceived as a challenging field, not just in an academic sense. It combines the rigorous demands of scientific principles with a perception of resilience and toughness akin to that of law enforcement or physical labor.

  • Hobbies

I love walking in nature, being in nature, biking, listening to heavy metal, being with friends, barbecuing, and visiting new places!

Volunteer Opportunities
  • I am willing to be contacted by educators for possible speaking engagements in schools or in after school programs or summer camps.
  • I am willing to host a field trip to my place of employment.
  • I am willing to be interviewed by interested students via email.
