I was born and raised in Jaipur, the beautiful pink city of India. I did my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi in India where I played 4 years of varsity basketball and spent a semester in France for study abroad, learning French and traveling Europe. I have a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, where I was also a Teaching Assistant for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship course. During my second year, I did an internship at Schlumberger, Houston. They liked me and sent me to Malaysia to work as a Completions Field Engineer. After 2 years working on offshore rigs, I came back to Houston where I currently work as an Engineer for Intelligent Completions Systems. At the same time, I am also pursuing my Weekend MBA from Rice Jones Graduate School of Business. In my free time, I love travelling, photography, playing tennis, reading and occasionally cooking!

I enjoy physics, I am a self driven student, I enjoy solving problems, doing research, etc. I will be attending college this fall and want to major in mechanical engineering. Do you have any advice on what I should do to succeed? I get discouraged at times.
