Allison Sadin AddedMonday, July 30, 2018 at 2:02 PM Hey engineergirl, I have a Bachelors of Science in political science, but I am looking into getting a masters in engineering. Can I get a masters in engineering without an engineering undergrad? Some will have hard requirements on acceptable undergraduate degrees in order to be admitted, however, others will be a little more flexible. I recommend you check around on the school's website. There is usually an admissions information section for each graduate degree program. I can tell you the program I went through did require an BS in an engineering discipline but they also accepted students who did not with the stipulation that they completed additional course work. If you can't seem to find the answer digging around on the program website, chat with your adviser or reach out to a professor who teaches in the program you are looking at. Either one should be able to help you find the specifics around admissions. Best, Ashley
