  • What I Do

Currently, I am responsible for the health of specific product lines within our company. I analyze market conditions and potential growth opportunities and use that information to make recommendations for how to better serve our customers. I work closely with our sales representatives and their customers to teach them about our products and the best applications for them. I am responsible for all marketing collateral and product literature as well.

  • School Days

I went to school at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and have two degrees, a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Biological Systems Engineering.

Biography
In high school I was very fortunate to have many engineering courses available to me. I took my first engineering class as a freshman and I loved it. These classes were the only ones that would give me a project or assignment and allow me to do anything with it as long as it worked. I enjoyed being challenged to solve problems in unique ways. After high school I went to a two year campus to take my general courses and then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It was there at Madison where I joined an organization for women in technical science and engineering fields, Alpha Omega Epsilon Sorority. This organization gave me opportunities for leadership and helped me improve myself both professionally and socially. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and two years later a Master's degree in biological systems engineering. After college, I started working for Greenheck, a commercial and industrial HVAC equipment manufacturer. I started in a unique role, an engineer in their LEAD program. LEAD stands for leadership excellence accelerated development. Its a rotational development program designed to give you exposure to many different roles, products, and people throughout the company in a short period of time. As part of that program I held three different roles, estimating assistant, manufacturing engineer, and application engineer. I was also able to complete a rotation in one of our remote facilities, a valuable experience. Once I completed the program, I took a non-rotational role as an application engineer. I felt this role challenged me the most and gave me the most opportunity to learn and develop myself.
