This new forum is a compilation of inspiring stories about engineering and the spark that pushed you to dive deeper into the field. Many of these stories were submitted by a long time robotics coach and lecturer from Arizona State Univeristy, but this forum is a showcase of what groups of young engineers can do when they put their minds to work. Desert WAVE (Women in Autonomous Vehicle Engineering)

The team chose the name Desert WAVE (Women in Autonomous Vehicle Engineering) because they wanted to disrupt the status quo, or "make waves", as an all-women team and the team is located in the Sonoran Desert.

Degrees of Freedom (DoF) is a community service and robotics program in Chandler, AZ bringing girls together to build robots and learn about engineering.
