Can you enter the Environmental Engineering work field with only an associates degree or is it required to have a B.S at an ABET accredited school?

Hi Brittany! You may be able to find a job as an environmental field technician with an associates but most engineering jobs will require a B.S. To work in consulting or a public field, you may also need to get your Professional Engineering license which requires a B.S. in engineering along with state-regulated experience requirements. Though I've known some engineers to have a B.S. in an unrelated field and then get their M.S. in engineering.
