  • What I Do

I develop and support drilling alarms that help keep our men/women safe while drilling wells both on land and offshore.

  • Why Engineering?

I've always loved solving problems and loved data.  So I combined my love for both digital systems and problem solving with software engineering.

  • School Days

LSU- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Decision Science

  • My Day At Work

I work on digital solutions for alarm systems, that allows cloud to cloud ingesting real time data (1-5 sec data) from all around the world where our company does operations.

  • Best Part

Getting to work with people all around the world

  • Proud Moments

When other engineers use my products and give me positive feedback on how well they like it.

  • Challenges

When I first started my career straight from college, I was shy and didn't have confidence to speak up.  Now looking back on those days, I wish I would have given my opinion more those projects at the time.

  • My Family

I have a husband who is also an Engineer and we have a 6 month old daughter.

  • Dreams and Goals

I hope to help other girls find a career in engineering they are passionate about.

I also hope to be in a Technical leader position leading 1-5 people in 2-3 yrs.

  • Inspiration

My dad- I always wanted to make him proud.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

    You can do it!

    My story:
I was never the smart kid in my class. I never tested above average. However I worked really hard to learn and get where I needed to be.  Nothing came easy or natural for me. If it took a student an average of 2hrs to study for a test in order to pass it; it would take me 4hrs of studying. I literally had to work twice as hard as others.  My goal was to go to college and land a dream job.

Now 30yrs later I landed my dream job and it all payed off. It actually helped me in the end having these skills of hard work, because I applied that in everything I do. From my job duties, to buying a house, managing your finances, relationships, planning a vacation, being a mom, wife etc.

In my opinion being a hard worker is more important than what you are naturally gifted with. You can be the smartest person alive, but if you don't have any work ethic to unlock the value of your potential - then it's a waste.
