Close Up
  • What I Do

Graduate student working as Electrical Engineering Intern at SAYA. I am working on building, testing and designing different sensors like air quality, temperature, humidity, etc. Hoping to provide a better environment with my technical skills. Wish me luck!

  • Why Engineering?

I have always been a curious kid wanting to know how things work and how I can make them, which pretty much sums I was destined to be an Engineer.

  • School Days

All my education till undergraduate happened in India. Currently, I am working towards a Master's degree in the US.

  • My Family

I am the only female engineer in both my immediate and extended family.

  • Dreams and Goals

Being a research professor is my ultimate goal in this field, as in my opinion the greatest work one can do is to learn and share knowledge.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

Just go ahead and do it! Don't ever let anyone say it's a boy's club and deter your aspirations. If doing lots of physics and math sounds good to you and you have the desire to change the world, then go get it.

  • Hobbies

I enjoy sports a lot whether it's watching or playing!

Volunteer Opportunities
  • I am willing to be contacted by educators for possible speaking engagements in schools or in after school programs or summer camps.
  • I am willing to serve as a sponsor or coach for an engineering club or team.
  • I am willing to serve as science fair judge or other temporary volunteer at a local school.
  • I am willing to host a field trip to my place of employment.
  • I am willing to be contacted about potential job shadowing by interested students.
