Student members

ASCE offers free student memberships to college/university students through local chapters.

Scholarships

ASCE offers scholarships are for current ASCE Student Members in good standing. Scholarships are for undergraduate students, provided they have at least one semester or quarter of study in the next academic year.

Resources

The ASCE website provides several resources for middle and high school students, including links to videos, activities, and Future World Vision - a project that imagines how infrastructure could change over the next 50 years.

Other Opportunities

ASCE is a longtime supporter of the Future Cities Competition. This competition asks teams of middle school students to imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future.

Civil Engineering Clubs

These clubs, led by an ASCE member are places for high school students to meet, engineer mentors and explore civil engineering through activities, lessons, and field trips. Resources along with information on the annal club contest are available on the ASCE website.
