Amber Meehan asked Emily Boltcreed, Columbia University AddedFriday, October 2, 2020 at 4:04 PM What kinds of engineers make medicines? What field of engineering is for making/creating medicine, not medical equipment? Is it chemical engineer, biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical engineer, biotechnology, biochemistry? I do not want to study biology. My favorite subjects are chemistry, physics and math. I want to work in the medical field, however not necessarily with patients and not a pharmacist ... rather creating medicine. I've gotten so many different opinions that now I'm confused. Some colleges are telling me one major vs. another. I am a senior in high school. Related to Bioengineering/Biomedical, Chemical, Choosing a Degree, Engineering Branches, Preparation for College
