What I Do I recently switched careers moving from Program Management to being the Engineering Development & Training Lead for a Strategic Business Unit at Collins Aerospace. In my current role, I identify technical skills gaps and deploy training to help close the gaps across Interiors.
Why Engineering? I studied math and computer science in college due to the joy of mathematics in my grade school years. I enjoy problem solving especially as part of a team.
My Day At Work Deploying Training, organizing mentoring programs, upskilling offshore centers of excellence to prepare them for challenging engineering problems.
My Family I am married and have 2 daughters. They want a dog, so we are looking to get a golden doodle for May day 2021.
Want to be an Engineer? I recently was asked a question on if the world was ready for an influx of women engineers and how women would fit in this male dominate industry. My answer, they will fit like a glove. Women have been solving problems since the beginning of time, why not become an engineer, you're already solving problems!
