What I Do My group designs and manufactures heat exchangers used in aircraft engine, cabin, and electronics cooling. My job is to make sure that new projects are completed successfully, and that parts on existing airplanes operate as safely as possible.
Why Engineering? My favorite subjects in school were Math and Chemistry, so I knew from about the age of 14 that I wanted to be some kind of an engineer.
School Days I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miskolc, Hungary, followed by a Master of Science (also in Mechanical Engineering) from California State University, Northridge.
Best Part It's always exciting to see a new airplane go into service after months or years of dedicated work. Flying on a plane that I know I worked on, (or even seeing one at the aiport!), I think about all the new technology we've developed to get to the end product, and that makes my heart happy.
