As a mining engineer in a large mining company, I need to be able to travel, change departments, and/or move (usually to remote areas) at anytime on VERY short notice. I also work anywhere from 8-14 hour workdays - so I never usually know when my day is ending. This sporadic and hectic schedule can sometimes be a challenge, but the job is rewarding.
