Does being a girl make it hard?

Right now my brother is hard on me, so I don't know if I can become a engineer. I need someone to relate to, thanks.

    Hi Mary,
When I first started engineering I thought that it would be difficult being a female engineer, but as I got deeper into engineering, I realized that the most important thing was being knowledgeable. Once you're able to show how knowledgeable you are in engineering, your confidence will grow. I think it takes girls a longer time to feel confident in engineering even if they are amazing engineers. It's currently a norm, but I feel if we have more female engineers in the future, the more confident girls will become in engineering.

I suggest studying hard and showing off what you learned to your brother. Good luck!
