Hi Vallie! When I was in high school, I took advantage of all the math & science class offerings available. I also took advanced classes wherever possible, which allowed me to earn college credit while I was still in high school! Advanced Placement ...

I really don't like math and I also struggle in physics. But I really do have a love and passion for cars and the mechanics and design that go in to building a car. Should I go into mechanical engineering?

I really do like cars but I hate math. And I'm also a senior in high school so I have to pick a college soon but I don't know what to major in because a lot of people are telling me to not major in mechanical engineering because I hate math. I'm having a lot of trouble deciding if ...

It's OK not to love math if you want to pursue engineering! But you do have to learn how to do it and tolerate it because it will be a good chunk of your education. I think you need to ask yourself if you will be able to successfully complete Calculus, ...

Hi Aubri! I am so glad that you found EngineerGirl! Just because you got a grade that you are not satisfied with does NOT mean that you are not good at something. One grade does not determine your future nor your capability! And yes, I believe that ...

I want to become an Engineer for BMW, MINI or Rolls Royce. I always loved cars, and last year I started to think a lot about Mechanical Engineering after meeting a retired Mechanical Engineer. I'm not old enough to go to collage yet. What can I do now to learn about Mechanical Engineering? I figured out how to fix a toy pull-back truck's gears. I'm really interested in car engines and I thought about becoming a Mechanic too. How hard was it to get into GM?

I have 3 kids, I work in computer and internet technologies and I'd like to pursue my knowledge in electronic and electrical engineering. Do you know if it's even possible nowadays to study for engineering certification 100% from home? That is not to attend physically a university class.
