We have a specific concentration that focuses specifically on that called Operations Research. Operations Research actually uses programming to come up with tools to solve major problems we are dealing with in society. You can also do data mining and come up with various user interfaces and things of that nature to help with systems. So you can actually link the two together so just look up jobs related to what I mentioned and if you have any other questions feel free to email me. Happy searching!
