Hi my name is Isabelle and I am interested in pursuing a career in chemical or biochemical engineering, however I was wondering how physics intensive a chemical engineering degree would be.

    Hi Isabelle,
Physics is part of all engineering degrees- but typically just the basic freshmen requirements- two classes or semesters at most colleges. You certainly wouldn't have requirements for advanced physics classes- like electromagnetics or quantum physics- those are only for the truly serious Physics majors (which my husband happens to be one!). I also wasn't great in physics- but certainly managed through the two basic classes for my Environmental Engineering degree. I think you can do it too!
    Good luck,
    Kristin
