What I Do My entire career has been in innovative technology solutions that help people be more productive. Today I apply this in the non profit sector helping people connect, communicate and collaborate to reach their mission and goals. What I do is fulfilling, rewarding and combines my passion for solving complex real-life problems while also applying this to the improvement of lives globally.
Why Engineering? Engineering, to me, is unlike any other discipline! You not only learn the fundamentals that qualify you to apply it yet you develop the ability to design, analyze and design and that is crucial to anything you do making it the most transferable skill set. Engineering enables you to look at the micro and macro dynamics of any system and develop a process. I took systems engineering, I didnt know at the time, but the focus on math, neural networks and system design influenced me years later and harness my passion for machine learning and technology development.
School Days I did a systems engineering degree, Bsc.(Eng) - which is a combination of computer science, robotics, electrical and large scale system architecture. It can be applied to fields such as robotics, ai, system design and much more!
