What I Do I currently work as a Digital Product Manager overseeing applications used to support Reliability and Integrity programs in oil and gas.
My Day At Work I lead continuous improvement efforts, currently via digital solutions. I am a bridge between technical experts and end users. We work together to find the most efficient and effective solutions.
Best Part I never imagined when I was in school that I would get to solve so many different types of problems. I have touched everything from household consumer products, to high tech components, to pipeline/distribution networks, to enterprise level reliability programs and associated toolsets.
Proud Moments My proudest moments are when I get to encourage the next generation and share how the things I do impact every day lives. There are a lot of things we take for granted as a society - and I’m proud to be behind the scenes working to deliver them safely behind the scenes.
Challenges Early in my career I moved often. I worked in remote areas away from family and friends. Along the way I met new people and built my own network. It has been challenging to be one of or the only woman and/or person of color - but I’ve learned to enjoy getting to know more about the people and cultures I work in.
