What is one skill beneficial to have when doing your job and Is there something that could have done differently to reach your goals for this career choice now that you've been here?

One of the most beneficial skills is active listening. If you cannot listen, process, and understand what your customer needs then it doesn’t matter how amazing your technical solution it will not be used to its fullest extent. 

Looking back over my career I think that further diversifying the courses I took may have helped me hone my focus earlier. I have had a good career so no real complaints.
