How can I overcome the feeling of not belonging to?

Hi Margo, I am a high school student from a small town in Armenia. Now, I am a member of an engineering club in my school. I am the only girl there and I kind of feel left out. I have tried to communicate with them to make our work more productive, but it seems they are not willing to do so. What should I do? Is it always going to be like this if I start working in engineering company? This is one of the things that I am afraid of.
