What if I didn't take chemistry in high school?

I want to pursue mechanical engineering in Canada. Will it be okay that I didn't take chemistry in high school?

    Hi Beriah,

First of all, it's great that you are interested in Mechanical Engineering. It is very creative field.

In the universe, everything is made up of particles and chemistry is nothing but the study of them. In my opinion, you should learn chemistry. Because many areas in the mechanical engineering are linked with chemistry. For example, Metallurgy, Thermodynamics, Materials, etc. If you know the basics of chemistry, it will be useful in future.

In India, we don't have chemistry as an option till first year of Engineering. I don't know about Canada.

All the best for your future!
