Can you do stuff in agriculture and plants with a civil or environmental degree?

How do you get involved in stuff like that in engineering? Which discipline should you choose?

    Hi Crystal,

Yes, you can very well work in the field of agriculture with a degree in Civil and Environmental degree. For example, soil chemistry is major contributor towards the quality of crops which environmental engineering candidates study. If you are strongly interested in working towards the environment, you may opt for a BS in Environmental engineering. However, if you have a slight interest in contruction activites as well, you may opt for a BS in Civil Engineering and can take up courses related to environment. Once you seem to like it, you can also pursue an MS in Environmental Engineering. I hope my answer helps you out.
