I learned that to be an engineer I should go to an ABET accredited university and earn a four year engineering degree. There are many good universities I found that I could attend. I also learned of the requirements to have had a certain amount of math and physics classes in high school. During my senior year in high school I applied to different universities and ended up going to New Mexico State University and enrolling in Electrical Engineering. From there I continued to study and pass classes, get summer and coop jobs to gain more insight into engineering, and graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering!
