School Days I went to SUNY @ Stony Brook, NY for my BS degree and for my MS degree I went to Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY which is now part of NYU school of Engineering.
My Day At Work Reviewing documents that contain Call flow or Architectural Design for new solutions. Project manage using excel and other Microsoft products. Participate on various calls to gather requirements. Write reports and engage with upper management for feedback and guidance.
Proud Moments Being able to automated various processes to save time and money for the company. Also holder of a patent for location management techniques for fixed based small cell deployments for 911 calls.
Challenges As a female it was hard to complete my MS degree in a very fast pace environment in state of NY when I was also pregnant with my fist child, but perseverance and hard work helped me to accomplish the job.
My Family I am married and have 3 grown up kids ages 22-32. We love to be with family and do outdoor activities such as swimming, biking, tennis. My husband is also an engineer.
Dreams and Goals My short and long term goal is to keep my health in optimum level and do not let stress affect me.
Inspiration My dad had the most effect in my life. He did not treat me or my brother differently and had a same expectations from both of us. He is a hard worker and immigrant in US and has been a role model for me to achieve what is your heart's desire if you are patience and increase your capacity day by day.
Want to be an Engineer? Do not be afraid and go for the best as long as you are determined and you do not give up. This is a very challenging degree and need to make sure you like challenges and learn from them.
Hobbies I love gardening especially organic vegetables and flower beds. I also like swimming and biking.
