  • What I Do

I apply engineering principles and science to develop solutions to environmental problems, in order to prevent the release of harmful chemical and biological contaminants into the air, water and soil. I develop and guide companies on  environmental risk recommendations and prevention mechanisms, reviewing and evaluating Environmental Assessment of infrastructure projects, identifying impacts and analyzing their mitigation measures, carrying out environmental monitoring and inspections for regulatory compliance, implementation of anti-pollution and emission prevention measures, ensuring improved environmental performance and production efficiency, proper waste management, environmental reporting, management of Health, safety and environmental aspects of processes and operations. This I do by applying advanced methods, techniques and modelling tools to describe, quantify and solve environmental problems.

I have and do manage infrastructure projects, energy projects, industrial operations and processes, construction and investment projects, management of equipment and facilities of technical operations in an environmentally friendly manner to ensure good environmental use for sustainable development.

  • Why Engineering?

Engineering is a practical discipline where we do apply all our studied theories in our day-to-day lives and operations. It is a solution to the world's problems!

  • School Days

    1. Kyambogo University in Kampala, Uganda (Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering and Management)

    2. Graduate School of Engineering in Nantes, France (Masters of Science in Environmental and Energy Engineering)

    3. Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda (Masters of Business Administration)

  • Proud Moments

Being part of the Monitoring and Regulatory team of the Construction of the Karuma (600MW) Hydro-power Plant project. The project area is within the vicinity of two conservation areas, the Karuma Wildlife Reserve and the Murchison Falls National Park in the districts of Kiryandongo, Nwoya and Oyam in Northern Uganda.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

It is more than possible! Dream it, desire it, work hard and so will it be. Don't forget that what men can do, a woman can do it better and best! Engineering is a discipline for the best, so ensure to excel in whatever you do, whether academics, internship or work.

  • Hobbies

I love Reading, Mentoring, Traveling, Watching movies and Listening to Music.

Volunteer Opportunities
  • I am willing to be contacted by educators for possible speaking engagements in schools or in after school programs or summer camps.
  • I am willing to serve as a sponsor or coach for an engineering club or team.
  • I am willing to serve as science fair judge or other temporary volunteer at a local school.
  • I am willing to host a field trip to my place of employment.
  • I am willing to be contacted about potential job shadowing by interested students.
