The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the principal society and voice serving the aerospace profession. Its primary purpose is to advance the arts, sciences, and technology of aeronautics and astronautics and to foster and promote the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.

Student members
AIAA student membership is open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students for a small fee. Most student members are college/university students. Membership provides eligibility for scholarships, access to resources, and entry in to networking activities.
Scholarships
AIAA scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate student members in good standing who have completed at least one year of their college or graduate work.

AIAA Forums
AIAA forums and expositions are catalysts for inspired idea exchange, progressive problem solving, and industry innovation. Engineers and scientists from industry, government, and academia share more than 5,000 technical papers that present the latest research and development findings that will shape the future of aerospace.
Go For Launch!
Go For Launch! is a multi-day program (not overnight) that uses Space Exploration as a platform to launch student involvement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), STEAM (Art), teamwork, communication and leadership. Events are scheduled as locations across the country.

The Conrad Foundation, the Conrad Challenge, which gives students between the ages of 13-18 the chance to become entrepreneurs and apply innovation, science, and technology to solve problems with global impact.
