ASM Materials Camps®
ASM Materials Camps® camps are a truly unique, team-based problem solving experience that explores materials science and engineering principles. Camps are offered at no cost to attendees, but space is limited and requires students to apply. Campers have to be entering their junior or senior year in high school.
The Eiseman Materials Camp® is a week-long student camp that takes place at the 45-acre campus outside Cleveland, OH, that is the global headquaters for ASM International.
ASM Materials Club
The Materials Club is a an online program to help high school students learn about Materials Science and Engineering, conduct experiments from home, meet professionals in the field, work in small groups to solve problems and compete in a challenge where one winner is awarded a $500 prize.
Materials Discovery
Small groups use hands-on experiments to explore concepts of physical science while learning to draw conclusions and apply basic engineering principles. Designed for middle school students, the projects focus on common materials such as metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites. Learn more about Materials Discovery on the ASM Materials Education Foundation website.
