Natalie asked Kathy Moseler, Paradise Robotics AddedThursday, March 5, 2020 at 5:17 PM What is the best engineering field for combining a love of math and artistic creativity? My daughter is a high school junior. We have begun researching her college path and up until recently she was thinking she wanted to be an anesthesiologist. Their school had a visit from a local engineering college and she came home super excited about the possibility of an engineering career. She was specifically intrigued by 3d printing. She is an excellent student, in the top of her class. To say she excels in Math is an understatement. She just gets it very easily and has a genuine love of Math. Here is where it seems to be kinda tricky. She has always loved Art, she is creative and was identified as "gifted" in Visual Arts at a very young age. She has taken many Art based electives. She loves all things literal but has an equal creative side. With so many engineering fields it's hard to know which is the best fit for her. What types of things can she do that will embrace her love of both Math and Art? Thanks for any help!
