I heard there's a study that if you are 11 that is the best time to think about a job, is that true?

I'm 11 right now and I think I want to be a bridge engineer. I'm in the gifted program at my school and I feel like I would want to be a bridge engineer. Should I pursue my dreams and work towards being a bridge engineer? Or should I wait until I'm older to decide?

Hi Devyn! I think that it is awesome that you are thinking about future jobs! My advice would be to continue to work hard in school, no matter what you pick. My career has changed since I got my engineering degree, but pursuing my interests is what has always lead me. Even adults change their career! I decided that I wanted to be an engineer when I was 13, so there is nothing wrong with pursing your dreams!!
