Rayna AddedThursday, October 4, 2018 at 3:13 PM Can I be an electrical engineer and work in aeroscience? I really love electricity and airplanes but I don't want to be a mechanical engineer. Is there any way I can just do electrical in aeroscience? Thank you! The majority of those systems leverage electrical engineering concepts, like LIDAR to operate. In addition, aerospace will be a part of the IOT wave and you can expect data scientists to work on the large amount of data that they will generate. Finally, I'd say to be flexible in what you want to do at this point in your life. Take a class or two and see if it fits. You aren't committed just because you took a course or read a book on at topic. I hope this helps. :-)
