Sam AddedSaturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:30 PM Are there any kinds of engineering careers that include design and problem solving? Hands on work, and computer design? My math is weak, trouble shooting and creativity skills are strong. I'm two years into my graphic design degree, but lately I think I've realized that I want a little more. I miss working in a warehouse and doing things hands on, but also I love to design and I'm good with photoshop, rendering programs, etc. I love to build things. Are there any degrees/careers that include both? Like I said math isn't my strongest subject but I'm very creative and I enjoy problem solving. I also get along well with people so that isn't a concern. Many careers like the one you are searching for will only require a 2 year degree. If you could push through the math of a bachelors degree, that would be great and open some more options to you, but 4 year programs are very math heavy. Once in the job market, a lot of the math tapers off and is calculated with programs, but to get the degree you should know how to calcuate the results by hand if the need were to arise. I hope this helps, Katie Smith, BSEE
