Gender equality in engineering

hello, I like your way to encourage girls so i have a question. There is such countries that gender equality on engineering side is not sufficient yet. Although my country is developed but there is some issues on civil engineering side, even you are good at your job employers have stereotype for giving you a job, have you got any experience like that and I will be very glad if you advise me Thank you :)

Being in construction, I completely understand what you are experiencing. Women still today make up barely 10% of the engineering workforce in construction. My best advice to you is to believe in yourself and to have confidence in what you do. I would suggest you find a mentor. Most of my mentors were men as there were no women role models when I was starting out. It was a bit awkward at first as I did not know what they would say, but I was pleasantly surprised when they said yes. All my mentors have now passed away, but I will never forget the valuable insights they had and how their advice helped me throughout my career. If you try to do your very best and never become discouraged, others will see your talent. If you reach out to your mentors they may also have some suggestions and ideas that will help you. I wish you the best and am proud to see young women like yourself becoming engineers to make this world a better place!!
