I'm also not so interested in the end job. All I want to do is work with makeup. I'd love to become a makeup artist but there are no jobs/ horrid pay. I enjoy engineering, but I'd do anything to work with makeup. I was researching if there was any way to do both, and everything was saying study chemical engineering and then go on to be a cosmetic engineer. This sounds great except for the fact that I've never been great at chemistry and I don't know if I'd make it through the course. Is there any other way to work in the cosmetic/beauty/fashion industry as an engineer? (Sorry this was so long winded!) As you are not much interested in Metals, Then you have scope in costemics, prosthetics, orthotics in which artificial body parts are being designed as per need. Go for some good training centre who are working on cosmetic surgeries,Plastic surgery after burns, aciidental skin damages , artificial body parts designing. You can surely be a part of Cosmetic industry as an engineer.
