Engineering has a specific set of skills that you need to learn. You do not need a master's degree to work in the engineering field, in fact most working engineers I know do not have one. If you do not want to change your major from Spanish to engineering at the undergrad level it would be possible to finish your Spanish degree and then get a master's degree in engineering, however it will take you quite a while as you will need to take all the engineering undergrad classes. If you want to work in engineering an engineering degree is basically required.
