Becoming an engineer completely changed my life around 360 degrees. I was a single mother who was struggling financially to raise my two kids. I knew that wasn't a life for me or my children so I was determined to change that. My kids were 3 and 4 years old when I enrolled in college; therefore, they saw me study for all my exams for the next 5 years. When my kids saw me graduate they cried and hugged me...they were so proud. After I got my degree, my life was different. Not only do I have a great steady job, but I can actually pay my bills now. It's not all about the money but it surely helps!
