Erin Clarke asked Nicolette Yovanof Little, The Boeing Company AddedTuesday, September 26, 2017 at 4:46 PM Can I still study aerospace engineering if I don't have much knowledge about physics? I recently took interest in aerospace engineering. Unfortunately it was after graduating highschool in Jamaica. While going to highschool, I studied subjects that would be classified as "The Arts" which consists of Caribbean History, English Literature, etc. I did, however, do an Integrated Science class wich is a mixture of chemistry, physics, environmental science, agricultural science, biology and hsb. I have never taken an actual physics class so I don't really know much about it. I want to study aerospace engineering in college/university but I'm not sure if my lack of knowledge in this particular subject area will impede this somehow. It's never too late to take those classes and get into the field. Having taken it in high school would have given you some good background, but with hard work you can certainly still take them in college and be successful. Taking them in college will also help you make your decision on which paths to pursue. Good luck! -Nikki
