    I struggle with in person classes and taking the time for them, so I'm curious about online degrees. I know online degrees are super common these days but I'm not sure about being respected with an online degree in the engineering field. I think a general Mechanical Engineering degree would cover most of what I want to accomplish. I wasn't sure where to start so I looked up where to ask engineers and this popped up!     I did not learn about Mechanical Engineering until I was applying to college. Even then I was not sure what engineering was or how it was different from study science.
