Close Up
  • What I Do

I research emissions from different combustion sources such as diesel engines, and flares.

  • Why Engineering?

I choose to become an engineer because I loved science, and physics in particular but I wanted to use science to solve problems. Engineers apply science to real-world problems so it was a perfect fit!

  • School Days

My undergraduate degree is from Montana State University in Mechanical Engineering (B.S).

I am currently working towards a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia.

I am currently a research assistant in the aerosol lab at the University of British Columbia. I take samples from exhaust pipes and study the particles that have been collected to determine its effects on the environment and human health.
