I am making a career change and would love to hear your suggestions. I have recently become intrigued with Sustainability-environmental concerns, policy, etc. I already have a B.s in Interior Design, but I have a knack for operations, safety, and the built-environment. Which degree would be best? Environmental, Safety, & Health or Environmental Engineering. Eventually, I would like to have my own business in consulting... Thank you so much, in advance for your feedback. Erica M. Environmental engineering is the best option as the basis for a technical degree to give you the platform to own/run your own consulting company. I worked for a small engineering company that focused on compliance and remediation/drilling services. You have to know the market you will be servicing but that engineering degree will give you a solid foundation for success! Best of luck to you, Kristin
