Can I get into an engineering graduate program with an art degree?

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design in Spring 2014 but now am deeply regretting it. As much as I love art, it lacks the calculation and logic I desire from subjects like math and science. I've had an unfulfilling career in the fashion industry and really want to pursue industrial engineering, hopefully in the product development field. Would I need to get another Bachelor's Degree in engineering? Or would I be able to get into a Master's program with my art degree? Thank you!

    Hello Kacey,

I am happy you are interested in Industrial engineering. Product development is really a fun area, especially because now you can get into 3D printing and things of that nature. To just start with the Masters maybe be possible depending on the program you go into, however, you will still have to take some courses at the undergraduate level to get those core classes. If you go with the bachelor's first it will help you get a better sense of the engineering side of things. Plus since you already have some classes from your art degree it should take a little less time. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
