I have currently graduated with a degree in environmental studies and I have an interest in environmental engineering. But after doing research online, I have seen many comments stating that the environmental field is on its way out and there are less jobs. What are you thought on that? I really want to stay in this field but if it lacks job security I may have to do a career shift. We are facing challenges relating to our environment therefore there is always a need for environmental engineers. For example, environmental engineers are integral in the management of our drinking water, waste water, and solid waste (just to name a few).
