Daisy asked Lisette Miller, Ximedica AddedTuesday, July 22, 2014 at 8:34 PM Choosing a specific field Hi Lisette, From your bio I can tell you have been able to work on some pretty cool projects! I was just wondering what concentration of BME you choose to focus on in school? My school offers several concentrations and I'm having a little trouble choosing one. :( Related to Choosing a Degree, Preparation for College Reset Sort By Default Lisette Miller , Ximedica Answered Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 8:34 PM Hi Daisy, I specialized in biomechanics & mechanobiology when I was in college - though I also took several classes that focused on biomaterials (which I found very interesting). I've always liked engineering on a more macro level - and found it easier to understand the fundamentals when I could picture the principles in a tangible way. Don't stress too much about choosing one. Check with your academic advisor if it's possible to fill your elective classes with courses that relate to a 2nd concentration ... if you want to get to experience two options at once. Your best bet is to go with your gut! Good luck! Lisette
