Alicen Kandt is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in the Integrated Applications Center (IAC). Alicen provides assistance in assessing technical and economic potential of renewable energy and energy efficiency opportunities as well as providing technical support of projects. She also maintains and improves spreadsheet screening tools and teaches workshops detailing how to use screening and design tools for renewable technologies. Alicen holds a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Puget Sound.
