Engineers!
Anna has a Masters in Product Design Engineering from Strathclyde University in Scotland. Her passion for design and problem solving have led to a career in Medical design working for one of the top Cardio vascular design firms in the world. Working as Research and Development Engineer on products used regularly in heart surgery has provided Anna with expertise which has resulted in her travelling to the USA and Japan to work with surgeons and engineers developing new products. Anna now leads a team of Engineers, and contributes to the iMechE society in Glasgow. The best thing about being a girl in engineering from Anna’s perspective is getting the chance not only to come up with ideas, but being part of putting them into action, where multitasking and quick thinking are a girls greatest gifts!
