Close Up
  • Why Engineering?

I chose engineering because I really enjoyed math and science in high school. I shared this with my math teacher, and she encouraged me to be a chemical engineer like her husband. He was the only chemical engineer I heard of at the time.

  • School Days

Mississippi State University, Chemical Engineering BS
Loyola University at New Orleans, MBA

  • Best Part

Solving problems and thinking of innovative solutions is definitely the best part of engineering. It may take a while to solve a problem, but it is always delayed gratification.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

Do not give up. Even if you are the only one. Even if no one looks like you. Keep going. You can achieve your goals. The path may change, but the goal remains the same.

  • Hobbies

I love to do aerial! I do aerial silks, aerial hammock, and lyra.

Volunteer Opportunities
  • I am willing to be contacted by educators for possible speaking engagements in schools or in after school programs or summer camps.
  • I am willing to serve as science fair judge or other temporary volunteer at a local school.
  • I am willing to be interviewed by interested students via email.
