Close Up
  • What I Do

I evaluate technology that enables mobile operators in chemical manufacturing. That includes understanding the problems that operators face every day, and understanding the technology that could solve these problems.

  • Why Engineering?

I chose engineering because I was very interested in math and science, and wanted to have a job where I could be challenged to help people every day.

  • School Days

I have a bachelors degree in Computational Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

  • My Day At Work

While at work, I meet with operations teams to understand their challenges. I also meet with cutting-edge tech companies to explain our challenges and understand how they could solve them. I spend the rest of my time designing and implementing proof-of-concept projects to evaluate cutting-edge technology in real operations facilities throughout the world.

  • Best Part

The best part of my job is seeing the technology implemented at a global scale, and hearing the feedback from our operations team that we made their jobs safer, easier, and more productive.

  • Proud Moments

I am extremely proud of being named a next-generation leader by the National Association of Manufacturers' Manufacturing Leadership Council in 2022.

Volunteer Opportunities
  • I am willing to be contacted by educators for possible speaking engagements in schools or in after school programs or summer camps.
  • I am willing to serve as science fair judge or other temporary volunteer at a local school.
  • I am willing to be interviewed by interested students via email.
